Refractive Surgery

Refractive surgery is the altering of tissues  to change the way the eye sees.  Having been in refractive surgery since the early 1990’s, Dr. Till has performed Radial Keratometry (RK), Arcuate Keratometry (AK),eye1 Automated Lamellar Keratoplasty (ALK), Lasik, and now Implantable Contact Lens (ICL).  In order to achieve the desired final result, we now find that more than one of these tools may be needed.  Dr. Till is the only physician in the area to have offered ALK and now ICL.  Now, even cataract surgery  incorporates some degree of refractive surgery to eliminate astigmatism or other visual distortions.  With the new premium lens implants many patients are selecting, final touches to perfect the vision and the focus have to be made using various refractive procedures.
