Dr. Jonathan S. Till has been practicing Ophthalmology in the Roanoke Valley for 30 years. He is Board certified and was part of the Lewis-Gale Clinic during the majority of that time. In 2008, he left Lewis Gale to form Southwest Virginia Eye Center to bring more modern and technologically advanced treatment options to patients while still keeping a focus on the whole patient both mind and soul. With the new and enlarged facility, our patients are having a much better eye care experience. Dr. Till specializes in many aspects of eye care including cataract, lasik and refractive surgery, glaucoma, diabetes eye care, retinal and macular diseases, as well as eyelid and dysfunctional tear problems. Dr. Till has published several articles on topics ranging from cataract lens implants to neuroretinal diseases. He is actively pursuing several studies including research on presbyopia and the multifactorial cause of glaucoma. He is always trying to find new and better ways to improve the vision for every one of his patients.
